About the role
Aurora sits between a user's question and dozens of live phone calls. The design problem is trust: how do you show work happening in the real world, keep users in control, and make a recording feel like proof rather than homework?
As our founding designer, you'll own that answer across mobile, web, and marketing — from flows and prototypes to the design system itself.
What you'll do
- Design core product flows: asking, tracking live campaigns, reviewing verified answers.
- Build and maintain the design system that keeps web, mobile, and marketing coherent.
- Prototype interactions for live, asynchronous work — progress, interruptions, callbacks.
- Partner with engineering daily; ship, watch real usage, refine.
What we're looking for
- A portfolio of shipped product work with clear thinking about flows and states, not just screens.
- Strong systems sense — type, spacing, motion, and components that scale.
- Comfort designing for ambiguity: real-time status, partial results, failure states.
- You can go from whiteboard to high-fidelity prototype without hand-holding.
Nice to have
- Motion design chops (Rive, After Effects, or CSS/Framer Motion literacy).
- Experience designing for AI or agentic products.
- Front-end fluency — you can tweak the CSS yourself when it's faster.
