About the role
Aurora sits between a user’s question and dozens of live phone calls. The design problem is trust: show work happening in the real world, keep users in control, and make verified answers feel effortless.
As Founding Product Lead (UI & UX) in Bangalore, you will own product design leadership — from customer interviews and flows to polished interfaces that are both elegant and useful.
What you'll do
- Lead product design across Aurora’s core flows: asking, tracking campaigns, and reviewing verified answers.
- Run customer interviews and turn qualitative insight into clear product and interface decisions.
- Craft elegant, useful UI with a high bar for hierarchy, states, and interaction detail.
- Partner daily with engineering and founders; ship, watch real usage, and refine.
What we're looking for
- Prior leadership of app design for a large-scale consumer app at a startup.
- A product mindset — you think in jobs-to-be-done and outcomes, not only screens.
- Experience running customer interviews and folding findings into design decisions.
- A portfolio that shows elegant, useful interface work and clear end-to-end product thinking.
Nice to have
- UX writing experience or a strong voice for in-product copy.
- Experience designing for AI or agentic products.
- Motion or design-systems fluency that keeps product and marketing coherent.
Compensation
Competitive cash plus a meaningful founding-team ESOP grant. Final band depends on experience and evaluation.
